Fees and Policies

Without Insurance

Initial Visit (1.5 hours, includes extensive intake and treatment)


Follow-up Visit (1 hour)


*Payment is due at the time of each visit in the form of cash, check, or credit card.

With Insurance

I am a preferred provider for the following insurances:
  • Aetna
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Harvard Pilgrim
  • Massachusetts Teacher’s Association
  • Tufts Health Plan
  • United Healthcare

For the Tufts Health Plan, I am an in-network provider. Your acupuncture treatments can be directly billed and you are only responsible for a small co-pay.

For the other plans, there are different percentage discounts offered. The discounts range between 15%-20%. This is a courtesy discount given by my office.

*Always check with your insurance to confirm the details of your plan in regards to acupuncture. I do provide insurance billing, but for any claims denied, the patient is responsible for the fee of service*.

Lastly, I are more than happy to provide you any receipts you may need to submit to your insurance or for your Flexible Spending Account.

Cancellation Policy

In the event that you are unable to keep to your appointment, I require at least 24 hours advance notice for cancellations. If you cancel in less than 24 hours, you will be billed a fee of $40.00 for the missed session.

However, in the event that you cannot make an appointment, I am willing to waive the fee if you are able to reschedule the appointment at a different time during the same week.

If you need to cancel a Monday appointment, you can call and leave a message on Saturday or Sunday as long as it is 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.
